Job Summary
Move raw materials, packaging, supplies, and finished goods between the warehouse, freezer, cooler, and production lines using a forklift, powered pallet jack, or pallet jack. Accurately record all material movements via issue and return tags or RF scanning equipment while completing required paperwork. Report shortages of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to supervisors and remove line waste. Maintain a neat work area, wear PPE, and adhere to safety standards and good manufacturing practices. Lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 110 pounds occasionally. This role requires Forklift and Motorized Pallet Jack certification, passing a written exam and physical testing, and involves working directly with the production line tomorrow.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; round decimals to the nearest whole number; measure and input numbers to calculate correct formulas
- Must obtain Forklift and Motorized Pallet Jack Certification
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 110 pounds
