Job Summary
Conduct grounds and street maintenance by mowing grass, edging curbs, cutting trees, and clearing debris from rights-of-way. Operate machinery including lawn mowers, chainsaws, and work trucks while performing general equipment maintenance and repairs. Monitor work environments for safety, flag traffic, and report incidents or faulty equipment. Transport materials, empty trash, and assist with holiday decorations and special event setups. Communicate with supervisors and the public to coordinate activities and resolve problems. Requires a valid South Carolina driver's license and high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of work experience that shows an ability to maintain steady employment in any field
- Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job
- Valid South Carolina driver's license
