Job Summary
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements. Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes across air, hydraulic, and electric systems. Troubleshoot and repair exhaust, steering, and air conditioning components while test driving vehicles to verify functionality. File, grind, sand, and smooth repaired surfaces using power and hand tools. Maintain a clean workspace and record all measurements, services, and parts used per job stage. Limit comebacks to zero while sustaining 80% productivity. Requires Diesel Technology associate degree, one year of mechanical experience, and air brake certification. Required Qualifications
- Diesel Technology associates degree
- 1+ years of mechanical experience
- Air Brake certified
- Valid Driver's licenses
- Experience as a Class 7 and 8 Technician
- Experience repairing 53' trailers
- Ability to lift 50lbs
