Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on conveyors, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, and electrical/electronic equipment. Troubleshoot complex issues involving PLCs, motor drives, and external I/O devices using blueprints, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Operate material handling machinery safely while maintaining organized work areas and promoting a secure environment. Complete work orders, logs, and documentation according to established procedures to ensure equipment efficiency and minimize downtime. Communicate technical issues effectively to associates, leadership, and suppliers. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM shift with a $1.50/hour differential.
Required Qualifications
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology
- 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology
- 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
- PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadership
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in electronic technology with 2 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience
- Experience maintaining automated equipment in a distribution center environment
