Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical/controls equipment. Troubleshoot complex electrical/electronic problems involving PLCs, motor drives, and external I/O devices using technical drawings and diagnostic tools. Operate material handling equipment safely while completing work orders, logs, and documentation to ensure peak efficiency and a safe work environment. Communicate technical issues to leadership and suppliers to minimize downtime. Full-time role with shift differential; located at Dollar Tree's Distribution Center in Windsor, Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology
- 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology
- 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
- PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadership
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in electronic technology with 2 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience
- Experience maintaining automated equipment in a distribution center environment
