Technician I - Custodial

Job Summary
Maintain custodial equipment in good working condition while cleaning offices, restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, and common areas. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; empty trash and recycling containers; and clean and sanitize restrooms while replenishing supplies. Dust furniture, wipe down surfaces, and clean interior windows, glass doors, and mirrors. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues, hazards, or security concerns to the supervisor. Assist with moving furniture, setting up meeting rooms, and light maintenance tasks. Follow established safety procedures for chemical handling and perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to travel to other GRDA locations in northeast Oklahoma to fill in for custodial services. Valid Oklahoma driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- 1 year experience in building or institutional custodial work or an equivalent combination experience
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license, or the ability to convert within 30 days for those with an out of state driver's license that are an Oklahoma resident
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and use custodial cleaning equipment
- Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to travel to other GRDA locations in northeast Oklahoma to fill in for custodial services
