Job Summary
Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs using computerized equipment. Complete routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements. Repair and replace parts including brakes, engines, and electrical systems while conducting quality control checks to ensure safety. Keep accurate records of all repairs and communicate with customers to explain work performed. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working independently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Strong understanding of mechanics and automotive systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certification is preferred
