Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications using infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices. Tear down, repair, replace, and rebuild faulty assemblies including power systems, steering linkages, and transmissions. Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels while adequately explaining technical diagnoses to non-mechanical individuals. Requires five years of automotive technician experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate various shop equipment. This full-time role is based on flagged hours within a family-owned dealership dedicated to luxury and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 5+ years of automotive technician experience
- Ability to drive and handle various vehicle makes models, and sizes
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, electrical, engine, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
