Technician - Generator - Level I

Technician - Generator - Level I responsible for evaluating and performing service and/or repair on engines and generators. Primary duties include troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing diesel and/or gas engines, transfer switches, switch gear, and related equipment such as air compressors and HVAC units; completing documentation (work orders, service reports, time allocation, parts tracking); ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting needs and deadlines; completing scheduled repairs safely and efficiently; adhering to contamination control and HAZMAT rules; maintaining a clean and safe work area. No formal supervisory responsibilities. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
