Job Summary
Technician - Gas products responsibilities include conducting a wide range of test procedures, recording and interpreting data, and supporting R&D projects that are not standardized. The role involves assembling/disassembling test samples, modifying experimental setups, maintaining lab equipment, and coordinating with Certifier and client to review test results and certification status. Requires direct lab work, data analysis, drafting test reports and product descriptions, ensuring traceability and non-conformances follow-up, and occasional field activities. Strong knowledge of testing standards, proficiency with laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multimeters, power analyzers, chart recorders), ability to read engineering drawings, and effective communication with internal teams and clients. Required Qualifications
- Technical Certificate or equivalent education and experience
- Associates degree in Engineering Technology OR 5-8 years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of national/international standards through research of standards, bulletins and technical articles in area of specialty
- Ability to read, interpret and develop engineering drawings and test data
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and test equipment including oscilloscope, power supplies, multimeters, power analyzers, chart recorders
- Experience with laboratory procedures and calibration procedures
- Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability
