Job Summary
Conduct quality control and troubleshooting on technical issues, notating non-functioning components while meeting production schedules and deadlines. Perform basic disassembly of Chromebooks, identify cosmetic and functional defects, and utilize testing machines with precision hand tools. Complete data entry for logs and paperwork, maintain warehouse duties including moving boxes and organizing scrap parts, and cross-train across multiple department areas as needed. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and recognizing recurring defects to communicate with supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Chromebook components: LCD screens, Keyboards, Batteries, Motherboards, Wi-Fi Cards, Charge and power ports.
- Understanding quality control standards and inspection processes.
- Basic knowledge of computer repair tools and equipment.
- Awareness of workplace safety practices.
- Disassemble Chromebooks without causing damage.
- Identify cosmetic and functional defects.
- Use hand tools such as precision screwdrivers, spudgers, tweezers, and multimeters.
- Follow written work instructions and repair procedures.
- Record inspection results accurately in a computer system.
- Maintain productivity while meeting quality standards.
