Technician - Flat Rate

Inspect and test vehicles to keep equipment available, performing preventive maintenance including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and filter replacements. Diagnose operator complaints to repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, body damage, and replace parts or components. Verify serviceability through test drives and adjust controls while complying with state requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. Maintain vehicle appearance via cleaning, washing, and painting, and record all service and repairs. Operate shop equipment by troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and managing inventory to control costs.
