Technician - Flat Rate

Inspect and test vehicles to ensure equipment availability, performing preventive maintenance including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and filter replacements. Diagnose operator complaints to repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, body damage, and replace parts or components. Verify serviceability through test drives, adjust controls, and comply with state requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. Maintain vehicle appearance via cleaning, washing, and painting, while keeping records of all service and repairs. Operate shop equipment by troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and managing inventory to control costs and ensure parts readiness. Obtain and maintain a NYS Inspectors License.
