Job Summary
Technician I role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment and pipeline and terminal facilities across pump stations (tank farms), remote booster stations, pipeline ROW, pipeline facilities, remote valve sites, and delivery terminals. Responsibilities include overall troubleshooting and maintenance support for pipeline and terminal facilities, planning, estimating, scheduling and cost control; compliance with regulatory and company maintenance procedures; continuous education on new technologies; procuring and coordinating outside contractors; implementing company policies and construction specifications for new or upgraded facilities; training Operations personnel on new equipment or software; maintaining equipment records and documentation per policy; and other duties as assigned. Requires an associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience and experience in pipeline/terminal/plant operations and maintenance; PLC troubleshooting experience (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and load rack presets are preferred; basic SCADA and MS Office knowledge a plus; strong communication, analytical, and technical skills; must meet OSHA medical criteria and be able to perform physical labor safely.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year associate’s degree in electrical, electronic, or mechanical field OR equivalent combination of education/work experience
- Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance
- Must reside within 45 minutes normal driving time of the work location
- Valid driver’s license
