Job Summary
Onsite repair and maintenance of EV charging stations across a defined geographic region, including site safety, electrical system maintenance/repair, site field reports, and adherence to contractual requirements. Responsible for performing OEM testing, troubleshooting, and upgrades on a range of equipment from Level 2 EV chargers to DC Fast Chargers, conducting insulation testing, thermal imaging, torque tests, and performance evaluations. Work in the field under varying conditions, with documentation of issues in the work order system and collaboration with Planning and Scheduling to meet deadlines. Requires 2+ years of experience in servicing electrical power equipment, strong troubleshooting skills, CMMS proficiency, and clear English communication. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $32.00 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and professional development; company vehicle and tools provided where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field and/or formal electrical training
- Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Technical knowledge of EV chargers, solar power installations, or other applicable power electronics (preferred, not required)
- Experience using a CMMS to generate, track, and complete site work requirements
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for safe performance and communication
