Job Summary
Liaise with Production and engineering teams to maximize equipment performance and support manufacturing output. Establish department schedules, maintain records of engineering procedures, and facilitate equipment projects and process improvements. Troubleshoot, install, and commission machinery while supervising external contractors and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Conduct equipment monitoring and investigations to identify cost improvement plans and optimize machinery for efficiency. Adhere to the Maintenance Excellence Programme to decrease downtime and cross-train within manufacturing engineering. Work a 16/5 shift roster and on-call rotation at the Ballytivnan site.
Required Qualifications
- Flexibility to work shifts that include Days & Evenings
- 3rd level qualification in an Engineering discipline
- Trade qualified
- 3-5 years experience in a regulated environment (GMP preferable)
- Strong IT knowledge
- Strong trouble shooting and documentation skills
- Working knowledge of ATEX regulations and requirements
- High level of attention to detail and mental concentration
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to new regulatory requirements
- Results driven mindset
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Flexibility to support the business through working a 16/5 shift roster and on call rota as required
