Technician, Electronic II

Technician II performs installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic, audiovisual, and computer equipment across district facilities, ensuring the proper operation of fire and security systems. Works on school-based and district-level electronics projects, follows electrical codes, reads diagrams and specifications, and communicates with school administrators regarding work orders and safety. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of electronics experience; skills include use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, soldering irons, reading schematics, and maintaining records. Position is full-time, based in Charlotte, NC, with travel to job sites as needed and adherence to district policies.
