Job Summary
Technician Electrical (Maintenance) responsible for electrical installation, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery, equipment and fixtures to minimize downtime. Performs breakdown and planned/preventive/predictive maintenance on LV-MV motors, LV switchboards, MCCs, lighting, transformers, UPS, VFD, breakers, and soft starters; diagnoses and repairs electrical faults; uses SAP to order spare parts; adheres to safety and EHS guidelines; mentors trainees and supports continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Business Excellence, safety). Requires Diploma in a relevant field, PEC Craft Training, and at least 3 years of heavy-industry experience; proficiency in English and strong knowledge of maintenance tools and engineering drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in relevant field
- Completion of PEC Craft Training
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a heavy industry after Diploma
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and IT
- Experience in installation & troubleshooting
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/manuals/instructions
