Job Summary
Conduct propane tank installations and service work in compliance with NFPA 58 and 54, maintaining required CDL credentials and performing daily vehicle inspections. Accurately complete service orders, billing documentation, and parts invoices while supporting seasonal delivery operations and reporting incidents to the General Manager. Participate in on-call coverage for evenings or extended hours, safely maneuvering equipment up to 75 pounds in varying weather conditions. Requires a valid Class B CDL, 2–3 years of field experience, and familiarity with propane systems and local codes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL
- Ability to perform physical job requirements, including lifting up to 75 lbs
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for documenting service orders and inspections
- Commitment to working safely and following propane installation regulations
- Tanker and/or Hazmat endorsements
- 2–3 years of experience in propane, HVAC, or a closely related field
- Familiarity with propane systems, NFPA codes, and industry standards
- Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills
- Prior on-call or field service experience
