Job Summary
Install broadband service drops by working with both aerial and buried drops for connecting customer homes and businesses. Operate a vibratory plow/trencher, read and maintain schematics, and bore under sidewalks and driveways when appropriate. Successfully complete drop installation and broadband service activations to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality work. This role requires a self-starter capable of working independently, lifting up to 70 lbs, and climbing a 28' ladder in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- 0-2 Years of Field Operations or Construction related experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to carry and climb a 28' ladder from truck to pole and/or house
- Ability to work in an array of weather conditions
- Driving
- Must be able to successfully complete drop installation and broadband service activations for customer homes and businesses
