Technician Drop I - Glo Fiber

Drop Technician responsible for installing broadband service drops (aerial and buried) to homes and businesses, operating a vibratory plow/trencher, reading and maintaining schematics/diagrams, and boring under sidewalks or driveways when needed. Must be a self-starter capable of working independently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work, with successful activation of broadband service. Priorities include installing drops, enabling customer activations, and performing tasks with safety and efficiency in various weather conditions. Job progression opportunities exist within Shentel's field supervision path; education requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.
