Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation, including wheel alignments, tire services, suspension adjustments, and general maintenance like oil changes and brake service. Utilize specialized diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues while maintaining accurate service records and adhering to all safety procedures. Collaborate with team members to uphold efficiency and quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment, providing clear explanations of findings and recommended repairs to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair
- 2–4 years of hands-on training in automotive maintenance
- 1+ year of experience as an alignment technician
- completion of a post-secondary vocational program in automotive technology
- Extensive knowledge of tire installation, wheel balancing, and diagnosing ride disturbances
- Growing knowledge of steering, suspension, and general vehicle maintenance
- Proficient in the use of standard automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Solid understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Valid Drivers' License
