Job Summary
Prepare and revise technical drawings using MicroStation, AutoCAD; interpret design inputs from engineers and translate them into detailed and coordinated construction drawings. Review and update drawings to comply with project specifications and authority requirements (RTA, DM, DEWA), maintain a well-organized archive of project drawings, and ensure CAD standards across deliverables. Track and verify sewerage, stormwater, and irrigation networks in Dubai using as-built records, conduct site surveys, and coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and document control teams to ensure timely submission and approval of drawings. Update redline markups, section details, pipeline profiles, and microtunneling shaft layouts based on field data; provide drafting support during construction to reflect approved changes; support utility coordination drawings and ensure accuracy across multiple services. Qualifications include a Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or CAD Design; proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D; knowledge of RTA/DM/DEWA standards; UAE/Dubai experience with RTA/DM-approved projects; familiarity with GIS and survey data integration.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or CAD Design
- Proficient in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D drafting software (latest versions)
- Knowledge of RTA, DM, DEWA, and other authority drafting standards for infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with survey data integration, GIS, and utility coordination is an advantage
- Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure drafting, particularly for stormwater, sewerage, and microtunneling projects
- Prior UAE experience, preferably within Dubai, involving RTA and DM-approved projects
