Technician, Courtyard by Marriott Phuket, Patong Beach Resort

Technician role responsible for responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment. Duties include inspecting and maintaining air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment; cleaning and lubricating components; testing and troubleshooting various systems; stocking inventory; documenting daily activities; and ensuring safety and quality standards. Must handle tools, operate shut-offs, communicate effectively with guests and shifts, and perform related repair and maintenance tasks as needed. Requires basic computer skills and familiarity with safety protocols, lockout/tagout, and general building maintenance. Preferred background in hotel engineering or general maintenance with some related experience and a high school diploma or GED.
