Job Summary
Technician to assemble battery cells on Coreshell’s Pilot Line, operating manufacturing and testing equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment. Core responsibilities include electrode handling, stacking, tab welding, electrolyte filling, vacuum sealing, and formation preparation, while following SOPs, maintaining dry room protocols, ensuring quality and documentation, and keeping organized production records and traceability.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a science related field
- 2+ years of experience in battery assembly, manufacturing, or lab operations preferred
- Ability to follow detailed manufacturing procedures and engineering instructions.
- Familiarity with chemistry lab safety protocols.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools
- Ability to wear PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and respirators if required
