Job Summary
Technician (Contract) responsible for safe, efficient recovery and relocation of grounded, disabled, or abandoned aircraft. Coordinates with maintenance teams, pilots, transport crews, and regulatory bodies to ensure relocation to the Maintenance HUB or designated facilities with minimal risk. Performs recovery planning, damage prevention using towing and lifting devices, maintains documentation in Odoo, supports emergency response, and assists with initial troubleshooting and basic repairs. Requires adherence to FAA/ICAO safety protocols, willingness to work varied shifts (days/evenings, weekends), and travel as needed. Strong emphasis on logistics, safety, and customer service. Preferred qualifications include aviation maintenance, aircraft operations, or logistics-related certifications. Starting pay is $25/hour, with final compensation dependent on experience and location.
Required Qualifications
- Aviation maintenance, aircraft operations, or logistics-related degree/certifications preferred.
- Must be able to travel 5-10% as necessary
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
- Must have a valid US Driver's License
- Must be willing to work 45+ hours per week
