Job Summary
Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on full line of construction equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot for both minor and major repairs, build and maintain customer, vendor and factory relationships, perform repairs within established labor time guides, read electrical and hydraulic schematics, and create detailed parts and labor repair scopes for quoting. Must be self-starting with strong communication with Service/Parts teams, willing to work overtime or be on a rotating on-call list, and able to perform pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations. Possession of or ability to obtain a Class A CDL required. Training and professional development supported; competitive pay and benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years of Construction Equipment Repair Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possession of or ability to obtain Class A CDL
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Good Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
- Stamina, Attention to Detail and Safety Awareness
- Vocational Training or Apprenticeship
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Experience with OEM specifications
- Ability to follow OEM specifications for repairs
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
