Job Summary
Non-licensed staff member provides physical care and emotional support to patients under the direction of a registered nurse, while maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment; also performs clerical and communication tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or G.E.D. required.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years previous experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred.
- CPR (American Heart Association) required.
- CPI required must be obtained within introductory period.
- Psychiatric Technician preferred.
