Job Summary
Non-licensed staff member who, under the direction of a registered nurse, provides physical care and emotional support to patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting, while maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment. Also responsible for clerical and communication functions as needed. Requires high school graduate or GED; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred; CPR required; CPI required within introductory period; psychiatric technician preferred; part-time nights with varied shifts in Bridgeton, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED required
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years previous experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred
- CPR required (American Heart Association)
- CPI required within introductory period
- Psychiatric Technician preferred
