Job Summary
Technician C handles a range of mechanical tasks including brakes, rotors, fluid exchanges, oil changes, transmission and differential work, and cooling system maintenance, as well as tire services. Communicates with customers to educate them on preventive maintenance, documents work performed, road tests vehicles as needed, and keeps shop areas and tools organized. Adheres to safety and regulatory requirements, participates in training programs, and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine tickets, notes and other correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers
- Valid Driver's License
- State Emission Certification- if applicable in your state
- State Vehicle Inspector Certification- if applicable in your state
