Job Summary
Conduct preventive and demand maintenance and repair of the hybrid fiber coax or fiber to the home broadband network, including associated equipment, while maintaining or improving system performance standards per operational policies. Perform tasks requiring climbing ladders and utility poles, working in small confined spaces, and operating outdoors in extreme weather. Manage up to 25% daily travel time and lift loads of 70 lbs or more while working near power lines. Requires 3-5 years of maintenance experience and Master Tech certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Maintenance Level I: 3-5 Years Maintenance Experience
- Master Tech Certification or equivalent industry certifications/experience
- Ability to climb ladders and/or utility poles and work in high places
- Ability to work in small places (such as crawl spaces and attics)
- Ability to work outdoors and in extreme weather conditions and varying topographic, wet and dry locations
- Up to 25% daily travel time
- Lifts and carries loads of 70 lbs. or more
- Works in confined spaces such as crawl spaces or attics
- Works while standing 50 -70% of the time
- Performs work near power lines and electricity
