Job Summary
Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team. You will learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Under guidance of experienced technicians, you will participate in routine inspections, contribute to vehicle assessments, and assist in repair procedures. You may interact with customers to explain repair procedures and provide exceptional service. Responsibilities include changing oil and performing scheduled maintenance, inspecting steering/suspension/brake systems, installing batteries and checking electrical systems, performing tire maintenance, installing parts, and road testing vehicles. Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within the first two years of employment (tests/fees paid by the company).
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services
- Oil changes
- Basic inspections
- Repairing tires
- Reading, writing, and math skills
