Job Summary
Monitor and operate bottle filling machinery to produce and fill products meeting quality targets and departmental goals. Inspect production processes to ensure operations run under correct parameters, documenting all adjustments. Replace equipment and perform scheduled maintenance on machines and tools, recording maintenance logs, spare parts usage, and downtime. Submit reports on equipment maintenance, spare parts inventory, and machine operating hours. Propose preventive maintenance strategies, spare parts management improvements, and Kaizen or cost-saving projects. Report internal issues to the supervisor and suggest solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in controlling machinery to produce products efficiently and meet targets
- Ability to monitor production processes to ensure they are conducted under correct parameters
- Capability to maintain equipment and replace parts when minor changes occur in the product being produced
- Ability to repair, maintain, and service machinery according to scheduled plans
- Skill in recording and reporting maintenance records, spare parts usage, and machine downtime
- Ability to propose maintenance strategies, equipment preservation methods, and Kaizen/Cost saving projects
- Capability to report issues to supervisors and propose solutions
