Job Summary
Conduct evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment, and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems while maintaining stock levels. Perform sub-assembly and final assembly operations, including complex electro-mechanical tasks, ensuring all work adheres to GMP guidelines and company quality procedures. Complete supporting documentation accurately and assist in training Senior Assemblers and other Technicians. Troubleshoot issues to resolve problems efficiently and perform advanced test procedures in a regulated environment. This role requires 3+ years of experience as an Electronic or Instrument Manufacturing Technician, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Located in Missouri, the position offers hourly pay between $21.80 and $32.70, a variable annual bonus, and a comprehensive Total Rewards package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 3+ years of related experience as an Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician
- knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions
- advanced laws of electricity
- microprocessor and analog systems
- Detail orientation to complete tasks without errors and produce high-quality work
- Organizing work and resources efficiently to ensure smooth operations
- Troubleshooting issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently
- Ability to cooperate with others at all levels including leadership
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Skilled in MS Office tools to include but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
- Ability to perform advanced math
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like
- Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day
- Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
