Job Summary
Technician – Batteries & Electrical Team responsible for hands-on fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing of complex wire harnesses, electrical components, Li-ion batteries and thermal systems with focus on battery packs, BMS, and HV powertrains. Role emphasizes precision soldering/crimping, wire harness routing, BMS integration, mechanical enclosure assembly, HVAC/thermal system assembly, and rigorous documentation. Requires 4–5 years in electrical testing, prototyping, or EV assembly; strong safety discipline; familiarity with CAN/LIN communication; IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001 preferred; HV safety certifications required; emphasis on lab maintenance, calibration tracking, and adhering to SOPs.
