Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems and troubleshoot repairs for gas and diesel engines. Install and test new generator units while responding quickly to emergency jobsites. Repair and adjust transfer switches, prepare accurate repair quotes, and complete work orders in a timely manner. Adhere to safety requirements and proper PPE usage. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-5 years or more of generator experience
Desired Qualifications
- Technical School Certificate or Military training
- Experience with Kohler Power Systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Exceptional customer service skills
