Job Summary
Operate a 26 ft box truck on local multi-stop delivery routes, loading, delivering, and installing household appliances like washers, dryers, and refrigerators. Safely handle equipment using dollies and lifting straps while connecting basic water lines, valves, and electrical components. Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records, delivering exceptional customer service to homeowners and builders. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols. Must be 21+, possess a valid driver's license with current for-hire endorsement, and demonstrate the ability to lift 100+ lbs. Paid training provided with no experience required.
Required Qualifications
- MUST be 21+ years of age
- Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical
- Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement
Desired Qualifications
- Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred)
- Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!)
