Job Summary
AV Technician sought to set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV/projection/lighting/conferencing systems for banquet and meeting-room events. Responsibilities include overseeing AV setup, repairing/cleaning equipment, labeling and reporting issues, cabling and wire management, verifying equipment against the Banquet Event Order, communicating changes to supervisors, assisting guests with usage (and upselling AV services), breaking down and securing gear after use, and adhering to Marriott MVP SOPs. Must follow safety policies, maintain professional appearance, protect company assets, and provide courteous guest service. Must be able to reach, grasp, and lift objects up to 50 pounds, and maintain positive working relationships with the team.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience
