Job Summary
Install, maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems on mine support equipment such as shovels, dozers, and haul trucks. Replace defective parts, perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system functioning, and complete accurate service reports. This field position operates under a 14 on, 14 off schedule with 11.50 hours per day via Hours of Work Averaging Arrangement. Based at the Kearl Lake facility north of Fort McMurray, AB, this Fly In/Fly Out role provides camp accommodation and direct flights from Edmonton or Calgary hubs. Candidates must hold a Journeyman Automotive Service Technician credential, five years of relevant experience, First Aid certification, and a valid Class 5 driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician (AST) or HET
- Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing and repairing HVAC systems on mine support equipment

- First Aid Certification
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- valid Class 5 driver's license
