Job Summary
Technician II, Chemical Production Operations at Alcon focuses on handling technical tasks in pharmaceutical or contact lens production, including working with saline solutions, mixing compounds, maintaining equipment, and adhering to GMP/GxP standards. Responsibilities include supporting operations to improve efficiency, following SOPs, maintaining documentation, performing equipment maintenance (pumps, homogenizers, filter presses, tablet compression machines), ensuring quality through statistical process control, participating in process-improvement projects, and complying with regulatory requirements. The role requires a diploma-related qualification, a willingness to work a 12-hour rotational shift, and 2+ years of production experience as a plus, with emphasis on continuous improvement and regulatory compliance across manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in related field considered
- Diploma in Science Chemistry would be an added advantage
- Diploma fresh graduates may apply
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Production would be an added advantage
- Willing to work 12 hours rotational shift (weekly)
