Job Summary
Execute dealership service repairs on customer vehicles per schedule, conducting proper diagnosis and troubleshooting to ensure zero repeat repairs. Complete final inspections per SOP, report additional job requirements with cost estimates, and maintain check and log sheets. Uphold workshop standards by keeping tools and equipment in order, ensuring bay housekeeping, and using appropriate PPE. Monitor punch-in and punch-out times for accurate booking hours, participate in workshop meetings, and report all incidents to the supervisor. Adhere to safety protocols, including keeping fire extinguishers accessible for fuel system work.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering
- 2 to 3 years overall experience as Technician in automotive dealership
- Technical skills, user skills in tools and equipment, basic PC skills, motor driving experience, and knowledge on automotive parts
- Complete bronze certification/internal assessment for Technician
- silver for Technician-Senior
- gold for Technician-Master
