Job Summary
Tech-Advisor role combining service writer and installation technician duties at VIP location in Somersworth, NH. Responsibilities include upholding safety and VIP standards, consulting with customers at the counter, educating them on vehicle conditions based on MPI inspections, performing services on vehicles, and carrying out required LMS and vendor trainings. The position requires becoming certified in BATS, TPMS, and ASE certifications, effective communication with the team, participation in daily huddles and store meetings, and ensuring facility and equipment maintenance. The role emphasizes delivering a superior customer experience and achieving higher billed hours through VIP processes and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
