Job Summary
Tech-Advisor at VIP in Shelburne, VT combines service-writer and installation-technician duties to deliver VIP programs and standards. Responsibilities include serving customers at the counter, educating them on vehicle conditions based on MPI inspections, performing technician work in the shop, ensuring safety, completing LMS and vendor training, and achieving higher customer engagement and productivity. Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
