Job Summary
Tech-Advisor role combines service-writer and installation-technician duties to deliver VIP-level customer service. Responsibilities include serving customers at the counter, educating them on vehicle conditions based on MPI inspections, taking work orders from management, and performing required services per VIP standards. The position emphasizes safety, effective communication, teamwork, and achievement of billed hours, with ongoing training to attain certifications (T.I.A. BATS, TPMS, ASE) and to implement VIP processes that enhance the customer experience. The role requires ability to work in both shop and desk settings, participate in LMS and vendor training, and adhere to service codes and applicable regulations. The standard work week is 5 days and 40 hours. Location: Presque Isle, ME. Remote work is not offered for this posting.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
