Job Summary
Tech-Advisor combines service writer and installation technician duties at VIP Automotive in Milford, NH. Responsibilities include assisting customers at the counter, educating them about vehicle conditions based on MPI inspection, taking work orders, performing required services per VIP standards, earning LMS and vendor trainings, becoming certified (T.I.A BATS, TIA TPMS, ASE C1, and related ASE certifications), maintaining safety, communicating with the team, and delivering a differentiated customer experience while supporting VIP programs and standards.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 Brakes
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
