Job Summary
Tech-Advisor role in Marshfield, MA combines service-writing and installation- technician responsibilities to deliver VIP customer experiences. The position requires safety training, ability to communicate with customers and team members, and performing automotive service tasks per VIP standards. The candidate will pursue and maintain ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1, A4, A5) and BATS/TPMS certifications, participate in LMS training, coordinate with the Service Manager, and help educate customers on vehicle conditions and recommended solutions. The role involves working at the counter and in the shop, handling work orders, and supporting the team to meet performance targets and VIP program standards.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
