Job Summary
Tech-Advisor role at VIP location in Keene, NH combining responsibilities of Service Writer and Installation Technician. Responsible for delivering VIP customer experiences, educating customers about vehicle conditions based on MPI inspection results, taking and processing service orders, guiding the team to meet VIP standards, completing required LMS and vendor training, achieving billed hours, and maintaining strong communication within the shop. Requires safety compliance, ability to work at the counter and in the shop, certification in automotive tire service (BATS), TPMS, ASE certifications, and ongoing participation in store meetings and training. Works in a fast-paced automotive service environment with a focus on customer engagement and process execution to improve the customer experience across service operations.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
