Job Summary
Tech-Advisor role combining service-writer and installation-technician duties at VIP location in Houlton, ME. Responsibilities include assisting customers at the counter with vehicle evaluations, educating customers on vehicle conditions per MPI inspection, fulfilling service and technician tasks per VIP standards, completing LMS training and vendor trainings, and maintaining safety, facility, and process compliance. Must communicate effectively, train on VIP processes, support earnings targets through productive billed hours, and participate in regular store trainings and meetings. Requires ASE C1 certification and a valid driver’s license; recommended but not required ASE P2, G1, A4, A5, and state inspection license; typically 5-day, 40-hour work week; non-exempt hourly position.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
