Job Summary
Tech-Advisor role in Brookline, MA combines service-writing and automotive technician duties to deliver VIP customer experiences. Responsibilities include safety compliance, counter service, vehicle inspections, performing required services per VIP standards, completing LMS and vendor trainings, obtaining and maintaining ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1, A4, A5), TPMS and BATS certifications, ensuring effective team communication, and contributing to a clean, compliant service environment. The position emphasizes customer engagement, achievement of billed hours, and participation in regular meetings and training sessions. Standard schedule is 5 days with 40 hours per week; pay is hourly. Minimum qualifications include strong communication, organizational skills, automotive knowledge, and relevant certifications/licensing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Educational and/or Experience Level: One year of related experience in automotive service field; Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended; State Inspection License Required (where applicable); ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required; ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended; ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended; ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering; ASE Certification A5 – Brakes; Current, valid driver’s license; Equipment Safety Certification; ASE certifications across various areas
