Job Summary
Tech-Advisor role in Augusta, ME focusing on delivering VIP customer experiences in automotive service. Responsibilities span counter service, shop technician duties, training/certification in ASE, TPMS, BATS, and VIP processes, handling safety, communication, and maintaining facilities. Requires multi-role capability as Service Writer and Installation Technician, with emphasis on customer engagement, achieving billed hours, and participating in ongoing LMS and vendor trainings. Extensive certification requirements and a 40-hour work week with in-person duties; standard environment includes indoor service area with exposure to automotive operations and safety protocols. Emphasizes adherence to VIP service standards and cross-functional teamwork.

- Minimum Educational and/or Experience Level: One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Minimum Educational and/or Experience Level: Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Minimum Educational and/or Experience Level: Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: Equipment Safety Certification
- Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: ASE Certification C1– Service Consultant required
- Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
